Course details

As a doctor, you will need to fulfil a number of roles including that of a professional, leader, advocate, clinician, educator and scholar, and these key roles form the themes around which the PUG Doctor of Medicine curriculum is structured. As well as undertaking relevant bioscience learning and development of clinical knowledge and skills reasoning, you will develop effective communication, leadership and teamwork skills for collaborative patient care. You may also pursue opportunities for depth of study in areas of your interest, through electives and scholarly activity. This course prepares graduates with the professional attributes required for successful medical internships.

Career Pathways:For registration as a medical practitioner in Armenia or Your home country, all graduates are required to complete a 12-month pre-registration internship in an approved clinical setting. Priority for internships is given to all International Student. Following graduation from the MD, further studies can be undertaken with a professional University for specialisation in a medical discipline, such as anaesthesia, obstetrics,orthopedic or pediatrics.

Scholarships: are available to students from a diverse range of backgrounds, including academic achievement, financial need, educational disadvantage, leadership and community service, artistic or sporting achievements, and being from a rural or remote area.
